New South Wales LINC: Welcome
LINC is proudly supported by the NSW Government through the NSW Department of Transport.
The transport sector in NSW employs about 20,000 people and the freight logistics industry accounts for over 11% or $34 billion of this State’s economy.
Efficient freight movements are vital to growth in our economy. One of the key issues in Transport and Logistics nationally is ensuring we maintain a strong workforce to meet skill needs of our industry in the future.
Because of this, in 2009 NSW established a Transport and Logistics Workforce Advisory Group (TLWAG). The NSW TLWAG aims to improve education, workforce planning, recruitment and retention practices and encourage government, industry and union collaboration.
