LINC is proudly supported by the Victorian Freight and Logistics Council (VFLC).
The VFLC is an independent industry advisory body that provides advice to government on the development, planning, regulation and operation of freight and logistics transport, infrastructure and services in Victoria. Thirty senior industry and government people are appointed to the Council by the Victorian Government.
An estimated 340,000 people are involved in Transport and Logistics in Victoria which represents 15% of Gross State Product. Because if this is vital that the industry maintains a skilled and productive workforce.
As part of its work program the VFLC acts as the secretariat of the VIC Transport and Logistics Workforce Advisory Group (TLWAG). The VIC TLWAG aims to improve education, workforce planning, and recruitment / retention practices and encourage government/ industry collaboration.
